The Kessv2 is complete OBD solution which can be expanded with a boot mode solution for the tricore ECU families. When you are interested in flashing commercial vehicles like trucks and tractors Kess is the best choice at the moment.
The K-TAG is probably one the most extensive bootmode tools on the market, as it enables you can read and write on a large series of different processors. For every ECU type the company made a very nice connection manual. The connection demands not much soldering skill and for most ECUs they have developed some probes which makes the K-Tag the easiest to use boomode tool on the market. So don’t worry about connecting an ECU in boot mode because with this tool it is really a piece of cake.
Powergate 3
Alientech used all their experience with this handheld flasher Powergate to develop Powergate 3. This handheld device does not need a computer anymore.
